“If you do what you need, you’re surviving. If you do what you want, you’re living.” – Unknown
I don’t know about you, but I would much rather live that simply survive.
Surviving is when you go about your daily routine, just feeling “eh” about your life. There’s no excitement, no “I can’t wait to get up in the morning”; everything is just okay.
In contrast when you live, you’re actually excited! You want to get up in the morning, you don’t want your day to come to an end. Every day, you are doing something you love so even if you have to work hard, it doesn’t feel like work because you truly enjoy doing it.
The key to living, rather than surviving, is to find your passion and to follow it. Just follow your heart..it won’t steer you wrong. If you are true with your intentions, everything will work out in the end!
PS – Sorry for the lack of posting recently…I was in an exam period at school and then jetsetted to NYC for a few days..because as I preach, I do what I love 😉
