#MondayMotivation

MM 7

This week’s #MondayMotivation inlines itself with the core of my beliefs: the importance of following your dreams. As Ralph Marston states in his quote, it is hard to follow a dream. But if you stop and think about it, most of the time, when we have a dream, it’s something uncommon. It’s not something everybody has, or everybody wants. It differs from person to person. For example, one of my dreams is to have my own empire one day; to run my own business. Someone else may have the dream of owning a certain expensive car, or being in the possession of a mansion…these are ‘grand’ things, that the regular Joe does not necessarily have. That’s why it’s called a ‘dream’; because it’s harder to achieve, and will require more time and dedication. Heck, if we could all get what we wanted right away, dreams would not exist. We would not have time to envision what we want because we would get it right away.

Though dreams are hard to achieve, they give us a point of vision, something to work towards, and that’s the beauty of them. The beauty is not necessarily the dream come true, but rather the journey to achieving that dream. And the dream come true is a symbol of all of the hard work and dedication that came with finally achieving it. That’s why, yes, a dream may be hard to achieve, BUT, if you let your dreams die, again, as Marston says, it is simply a tragedy. If you want something, GO FOR IT. What do you have to lose? You’re working hard to achieve something you WANT, why would you work hard towards achieving something you don’t want, instead?

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below 👇
