#MondayMotivation

When someone is passionate about something, it’s obvious. You see it in their mannerisms, in their eyes, you hear it in their voice; you can so clearly tell that what they’re talking about means so much, and that they are so excited about it.

That said, passion towards ones work, in my opinion, is tied to dedication, persistence and strong work ethic. It’s logical, no? When someone loves what they are doing and has a strong interest in it, they will be more likely to work hard towards it, and will pour their heart and soul into all they are doing which revolves it. When one works hard towards something, it is often seen, and, ultimately at one point, rewarded, which will lead to success and possibly greater paychecks at the end of the day.

Those who are passionate though, we don’t work for the money. We don’t do something with passion because we want that raise or promotion, we do it truly because we love it, and the raise/promotion simply comes along naturally.

On the other hand, if you work simply for a paycheck at the end of the week, but say, you don’t like what you do, you will be less likely to have a strong work ethic and be determined with your work. Though you may start with a nice salary, disinterest can be seen as much as passion can be. That said, it will be harder for you to rise up the ranks. And ultimately, if you have to spend five days out of seven doing something you don’t like, what’s the point? Yes, you’re right, money doesn’t buy happiness, but it can help, but at the end of the day, one spends more time at work than anywhere else in life…isn’t it worth working towards finding something you love?
